Alex Inglis was born in Hong Kong and studied there until moving to Europe and Australia to complete her tertiary education. She became a certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor with the American Council on Exercise in 2004. Upon recognizing the need to incorporate flexibility and postural awareness with strength training and cardiovascular fitness, Alex completed both the Basic and Intermediate Hatha Yoga Instructor certification with the Integral Yoga Institute. Alex began training and studying Polestar Pilates at Iso Fit in 2004. She has since then completed her certifications for Mat, Allegro, Studio, as well as Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis. Her aim is to utilize the varied aspects of fitness she is qualified in to maximize the opportunities for clients to achieve their goals. Alex has been an Educator for Polestar Pilates Asia for many years and has taught courses in multiple countries in the region. Alex has two young children and her need to keep up with them has made her recognize how important Pilates and functional movement is in daily life.
