Kimberley Garlick is a part of the Australian Polestar Educator team. Kimberley’s Pilates related background began with full time dancing. Kimberley Garlick had her first experience with Pilates in 1986 in Sydney Australia at the age of 15 when she was dancing full time. Kimberley went on to dance professionally and teach ballet. Kimberley studied a bachelor of sports science, Human movement and Nutrition. Kimberley has completed numerous Pilates courses including her Polestar Rehab and Studio Diploma, and has been an Educator for Polestar Australia since 2003. Kimberley worked extensively in the fitness industry and was a highly respected personal trainer, aerobic, cycle and pump instructor and continued into life coaching. Kimberley has been teaching Pilates since 1996 and has presented internationally through, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and America on numerous occasions. She has done extensive study in acuenergetics, massage, Myer Briggs Personality profiling and nuerolinguistics. Kimberley also worked with Unlimited Potential as a Motivational Presenter where she travelled the world as a leading presenter for high profile company conferences. Kimberley has worked extensively with all populations of the community from Dancers and horse riders to children and the elderly. Kimberley had a successful Pilates studio in Sydney that she sold in 2009 and moved into the Byron Hinterland and opened up a Pilates studio in the country town of Lismore that operates vibrantly with a small staff of 4 including her eldest daughter. My goal as a pilates practitioner is to bring wellness to each person with an individual approach. My ultimate goal is to create confidence in movement for all to enjoy their life to its maximum potential. I am passionate and very proud of my chosen vocation.
